   Crec que el problema es treu a partir d’un joc d’alfils aprofitant que el jugador negre té els peons en les caselles blanques i que el seu rei no es pot moure. Per tant, hem d’aconseguir que hi hagi la mateixa situació inicial però que jugui el negre. Per tant, es jugarà: 1.Ad1 Ae8 2.Ae2 Ag6 (si 2…Af7 3. Af3! aconseguint l’objectiu marcat) 3.Ad3 Ah7 4.Ab1 Ag6 5.Ac2 Ah7 6.Ab3 Ag8 7.Ad1 Af7 8.Af3! Zugzwang i el segon jugador no pot fer res per mantenir els seus peons.

   (Espero no haver-me’n anat de la bola en tants de moviments d’alfils però no m’he fixat en que m’hagi equivocat en algun lloc en algun tema de temps :P)

   I was reading this exact same position this morning in Averakh’s Chess Endings: Essential Knowledge. A great book if you haven’t got it already.

   I’ve used some of his other examples in the improvement tips on Chess Tales.
